Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has hinted at how the people of the state will vote in Nigeria’s presidential election on February 25.

The governor of Oyo State revealed his position on Thursday, when he hosted the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

As previously reported by Newsmen, Makinde met with the APC presidential candidate in the Government House in Ibadan, the state capital.

Tinubu requested Makinde’s assistance during his visit ahead of the February 25 presidential election.

Responding during the meeting, Makinde, one of the five PDP governors who have vowed not to support the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, due to disagreements with the PDP national leadership, stated that the people of Oyo would vote for equity, fairness, and justice over politics in the upcoming elections.

Tinubu’s campaigns were also wished success by the Governor.

Among of the APC leaders that followed Tinbu on his visit to Makinde are said to have included former Osun State Governor Chief Bisi Akande, Minister of Youth and Sports Development Sunday Dare, and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Kayode Fayemi and Gboyega Oyetola, former governors of Ekiti and Osun, are among the others.
