The governorship primaries in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States will be held on April 14, 2023, according to the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
This is despite the fact that the party set the cost of the governorship nomination forms for men at N15 million, while female candidates and candidates with disabilities will pay 50% less.

A special state congress and primary election for the states will be held on April 14 in Yenagoa, Owerri, and Lokoja, the capital cities of Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States, respectively. This is according to a provisional timetable/schedule of activities that has been approved by the party’s National Working Committee, which is led by Chief Victor Oye.

However, the organizing secretary added the party has the discretion to issue nomination forms to eligible aspirants even before the date fixed for the primary elections.
