Governor Darius Ishaku’s hopes of delivering his polling unit in Takum Local Government Council of the state to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar have come to naught.
Going through the results, the PDP presidential candidate was found to be lagging the Labour Party presidential candidate.

In addition to the polling unit, the LP Presidential candidate was observed to be leading in the state.
