The performance of the Bi-modal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) in majority of the states across the federation, he said, was excellent, while he recognized that there were some issues in other parts of the country.

He explained that the difficulty with voting in some areas was due to INEC officials’ failure to begin voting at polling units by 8:30 a.m., as promised.
