Rivers State has been won by Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party.
Tinubu received 231,591 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The Labour Party received 175,071 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party received 88,468 votes to finish second and third, respectively.
