Five days after the presidential election, the Independent National Electoral Commission has posted 147,578 results from 176, 846 polling locations.
This statistic represents 83% of the results from all polling units.
The electronic transmission of results was still in progress at the time of filing this report.
People expected the election results to be uploaded on election day, as INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu promised.
Nonetheless, INEC was chastised for failing to post results to its viewing interface, which resulted in a walkout by some party agents at the National Collation Centre on Monday.

Checks by our correspondent on Thursday revealed that the results of all the polling units were yet to be uploaded on the INEC website.
According to the Commission, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress won 8.8 million votes, while main opposition candidates Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party had 6.9 million and 6.1 million, respectively
