The National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria has written to President-elect, Bola Tinubu after his electoral triumph.
The body admonished the former Lagos governor to keep the campaign commitments he made.
Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, Chairman of the Coordination Committee and Etsu Nupe, signed the message to Tinubu on Friday.
Traditional institution custodians applauded the President-dedication elect’s to serving Nigeria and Nigerians.

They prayed God would give Tinubu and his Vice President-elect “the wisdom and courage to deliver on their pledges and mandate”.
Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, Sultan of Sokoto and Co-chair, and HRH Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi-Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife co-chair the council.
Tinubu was proclaimed the winner of the February 25 election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Wednesday.
The election results are being challenged by the first and second runners-up, Atiku Abubakar, PDP, and Peter Obi, LP, because to irregularities in various states.
