Shehu Sani Makes Fun G-5 Influence, Govs Who Now Beg Voters

Shehu Sani, a former senator, made fun of the G-5, which is led by Governor Nyesom Wike, stating that they couldn’t even help themselves during elections, let alone with Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for their party.

Moreover, Sani asserted that such governors were powerless individuals who could not have changed anything.

On Monday, he made this claim in a message on his verified Twitter account.
“Even if the G5 had supported HE Atiku, it wouldn’t have mattered. They were unable to restrain themselves, much less support their presidential candidate. “They failed to realize that governors no longer dominate the masses; instead, governors now beg,” he remarke.

PDP Crisis: If Reconciliation Fails, Don’t Blame G-5 – Ortom

Even if the G5 backed HE Atiku,it wouldn’t have made any difference. They couldn’t even help themselves talk less of helping their Presidential candidate. They failed to realise that the masses have gone beyond taking commanding instruction from Governors;Governors now beg.

The G-5 comprises five governors, Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), and Wike.

The G-5 had pulled out of the campaign of Atiku, demanding the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, as a condition for peace to reign.
