President-elect Bola Tinubu has been told that he owes appreciation to presidential aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi.
According to Deji Adeyanju, a sociopolitical activist, Atiku and the Labour Party aided Tinubu’s election as president.
According to Adeyanju, the governorship election demonstrated that the Labour Party was a needless distraction.

He wrote: “2023: From the gubernatorial elections across Nigeria, it is safe to say LP was an unnecessary distraction. They did more good to Tinubu than the country.
“Tinubu owes Obi, Atiku & other branches of PDP gratitude. I hope they will also not help APC again in 2027.
“Let me start rehearsing for May 29th and beyond because I have already accepted Tinubu as my president. How does it sound: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu?”
