The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), is currently presiding over this week’s Federal Executive Council meeting at the State House Council Room in Abuja.
The meeting, which began at 10:01 a.m., is attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, the National Security Adviser, Maj-Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd. ), and the President’s Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.
The meeting is attended by all ministers and their state counterparts.

With nine weeks until the regime’s end, Wednesday’s meeting will include memoranda from major ministries in charge of projects that are supposed to be completed by May 29.
Also part of the discussions could be the progress of the Presidential Transition Committee headed by the SGF, Boss Mustapha.
