APC Crisis: El-Rufai, Adamu, Others Absent From Tinubu’s Meeting

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), met with party members of the National Working Committee (NWC) on Wednesday.

Several governors who were elected on the APC platform were present at the meeting, which was hosted at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.

According to an earlier report by Anaedoonline.ng, the meeting was scheduled to address the party’s presidential campaign list and future plans before the general election of 2023.

Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president, was not present at the meeting since he was not included in the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council.

The party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, was not present for the meeting, which several members of the NWC attended.

Rotimi Amaechi, a former minister of transportation who hasn’t commented on the party’s operations since losing the presidential nomination to Atiku, wasn’t present either.

The conference was not attended by Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, Yakubu Dogara, the former speaker of the House of Representatives, and Babachir Lawal, the former secretary to the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The APC’s presidential candidate convened an urgent meeting with the party’s disgruntled members to discuss reconciliation, but some disgruntled party chieftains were still not there.
