Rema, a Nigerian artist, has reached yet another professional milestone when his smash song ‘Calm Down,’ starring Selena Gomez, charted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week.
The song has steadily risen from 109 on Billboard’s 200.
This is a new high for the Nigerian music business because it is the first time a Nigerian song has charted in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
The song is also making waves on other platforms, most notably YouTube, where it has over 400 million views.

The artist’s album, Rave & Roses, has also stayed as the longest running number Nigerian album on Billboard’s Heatseekes Album Charts.
