Fayose Reacts Over Suspension From PDP, Calls It ‘Last Kick of A Dying Horse’

Former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose has described his suspension from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the party’s Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee as “the last kick of a dead horse.”

According to Fayose’s spokesman, Lere Olayinka, “Ayu and his cronies are merely enjoying themselves with the reported suspension as their newest comedy play.”

He predicted that Mr Ayu’s “inglorious term” as PDP national chairman would be over in a matter of days, and that the party would be given fresh life.

The former governor stated that he and those who stood by the party when Mr Ayu and his cohorts abandoned it will rescue and resurrect it in due course. According to him, the alleged suspension will have no foundation.
