Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate and President-elect, has been accused of dodging challenges brought by his opponents to overturn his election.

According to news reports, the claim was made by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party rival, Peter Obi.

According to reports, Atiku and Obi have re-applied to the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) with ex-parte papers, requesting permission to serve the petitions on Tinubu through alternate ways.

Remember that Tinubu, who was declared the victor of the presidential election on March 1, is now out of the country.

According to an affidavit of urgency filed with the motion ex-parte, the court stated that it will hear Atiku and Obi’s motions by 11 a.m. today (Friday).

INEC declared Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the winner of the presidential election, beating out 17 other contestants.

According to INEC, Tinubu received 8,794,726 votes to defeat Atiku, who received 6,984,520 votes, and Obi of the LP, who received 6,101,533 votes.
