Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, needs more prayers from Nigerians, according to Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State, in order for his administration to be successful.

Masari made this disclosure during a special fast-breaking and prayer session held on Wednesday at the Katsina Government House.
The governor claims that the President-elect used to arrange such prayer gatherings each Ramadan.

“This year’s session is being held especially to give thanks to the Almighty God for our victory in the nation’s most recent general elections.

“All we can do is express gratitude to God for the achievements made in Katsina and throughout Nigeria.

“This is the main reason why we are here together with religious, traditional leaders, government officials and other stakeholders.

“He is now to be the new president, hence he needs more prayers. Thank God people have understood that after electing leaders, prayers must be the next,“ Masari said.
