Festus Keyamo, the spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign committee, has sparked outrage on social media following a recent tweet on his account.

Keyamo took to Twitter on Tuesday to present a faked image of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.

Obi in the photo was reading a book that stated, “from third to first, how to steal a mandate.”

Keyamo’s statement follows the former governor of Anambra State and LP candidate’s declaration that he won the 2023 presidential election held on February 25th, 2023.

Obi, who was declared third in the voting process by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has asserted that he won the presidential election, which was won by APC candidate Bola Tinubu.

In order to restore his mandate, the LP presidential candidate petitioned the court of appeals against INEC and Tinubu.

“I saw this and laughed out loud,” Keyamo said beside the photo on his Twitter account.
This is so appropriate!!”

Meanwhile, some supporters of the Minister of State for Labour and Employment have questioned Keyamo’s decision to post such when the case is still being heard in court.

Where again did this man study law..?

@blesynodion wrote, “PDP, LP and AA filed a petition at the tribunal but you only comment on LP’s petition all day. You said the man should go to court. He went to court and you are still losing sleep. Why not rest and allow the court process to go through peacefully. Do you know something we don’t?”

@iam_kiannie wrote, “😂😂😂honestly, they are not bothered about Atiku’s petition. Why Peter? Upon you said he doesn’t stand a chance to win the case, then why are you so troubled??”

Others wondered why Keyamo was tweeting about the presidential race rather than the Ministry he oversees.
