A 17-year-old kid has been detained by the Kano State Police Command for allegedly defiling two minors in the state.
The arrest was verified by the state police commissioner, Mr. Mamman Dauda, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday.
According to him, on April 2 at around 3 p.m., “the suspect allegedly lured a seven- and six-year-old into his room in Badawa Layout Quarters, Kano,” according to a distress call the police received.

They were defiled and gagged by the suspect. The Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital Kano was rushed to treat the injured.
“Investigation is ongoing and once completed the suspect will be charged to court,” Dauda added.
