2023 Elections: Reno Omokri Blasts Chimamanda Adichie Over Letter To Biden

Reno Omokri, a former presidential adviser, has attacked famous novelist Chimamanda Adichie for his letter to US President Joe Biden.

According to media reports, Adichie urged Biden not to recognize the conclusion of the February 25th presidential election in an open letter on Thursday.

The literary icon also urged US President Donald Trump not to recognize Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Nigeria’s President-elect.

According to Adichie, the presidential election was jeopardized not by technical flaws but by deliberate manipulation, and the process was tarnished by bloodshed.

President Biden, she added, will tarnish America’s self-proclaimed commitment to democracy by congratulating Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.

Nevertheless, in a tweet on Thursday, Omokri warned Biden not to take what Adichie said seriously because she is partisan and supports Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.

As a result of her partiality, the novelist would not be objective in her appraisal of the 2023 presidential election, according to the former presidential adviser.

He wrote: “I hope @TheAtlantic know that Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is not some unbiased concerned Nigerian? She endorsed Peter Obi, and called him “my President” before the election. She is partisan. @JoeBiden and the @StateDept would be wise to take her OpEd with a pinch of salt!”
