The city of Nnewi witnessed an unusual influx of personalities as a business man and Real Estate mogul popularly known as Obi Ego observed the funeral rites of his father on Tuesday the 11th of April.
The Nnewi born business man put his hometown, Okofia, Otolo Nnewi on a stall as people from different parts of the country graced the event in honour of the deceased, Late Chief Francis Okenu Obiasogu (Nwaezemalume) who passed unto the other side after 75 years of great accomplishments on earth.
A day set aside to say farewell to the great businessman, turned out to be quite memorable and emotional for the family members who believe he was a disciplinarian, worthy of emulation.

Nwaezemalume as described by his daughter, Mrs Akachukwu is a man of great kindness whom she loves so much. She has decided to keep making him proud.
The wife of Obi Ego says it’s a celebration of life as her father in-law was a kind hearted man.
Top Personalities in Nnewi and beyond graced the Event, to include the CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, founder of EVO Bistro, Akunalysis Hospitals and many other dignitaries.
Obi Ego is said to not just be a wealthy man but a trusted business partner to many, leading to the huge number of persons present at his father’s burial.
