Bayo Onanuga, the director of media and publicity for the Tinubu-Shettima campaign, has requested Peter Obi, the LP’s presidential candidate, to summon his followers to order.
According to Newsmen, Onanuga referred to the ‘Obidients’ as a’verminous mob’ that might commit murder in the name of Peter Obi in a remark he made on his verified Twitter page on Friday.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) leader made the claim in response to a tweet from JJ. Omojuwa @Omojuwa, who claimed that Peter Obi supporters had attacked the TIME staff members who produced “the Bola Tinubu: Most Influential People of 2023” piece.

After the string of online assaults, the journalist had locked her Twitter account, Omojuwa continued.
Onanuga, however, claimed in his tweet that the LP followers had continued to bring shame on the nation because they refused to acknowledge that Peter Obi had utterly lost the race for president.
He wrote, ”Peter Obi’s verminous mob continues to embarrass our country because it can’t stomach the reality that he woefully lost the presidential election. Obi should please call these noxious characters to order before they commit murder in his name.”
