See What Buhari Said About Court Judgement Restoring Ararume As NNPCL Chairman

The Federal High Court in Abuja’s decision to reinstate Senator Ifeanyi Ararume as the non-executive Chairman of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has been taken into consideration by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari claimed he has not yet received an official copy of the decision in a statement from Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

He urged everyone involved in the situation to remain calm.

BREAKING: Court Reverses Buhari’s Sack Of Ararume As NNPCL Chairman

“While the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation/Minister for Justice is yet to receive a formal copy of the ruling, the President affirms that due judicial process will be followed, and NNPCL has already taken steps to go on appeal.

“The Administration respects the Rule of Law, and nothing will be done outside it to resolve the matter”, the terse statement read.

Recall that on Tuesday, a Federal High Court in Abuja reversed the sacking of Ararume as the non-executive Chairman of NNPCL.
