Stanley Ogwo, a student at the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu in Enugu State, has reportedly been kidnapped.
Stanley, the son of a Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria announcer, Godwin Ogwo, was reportedly kidnapped on his way to school from his Emene home on Thursday.
Ogwo, who confirmed the occurrence over the phone with our correspondent, said his son is a National Diploma student at the institute.

He said that his son was kidnapped on a commercial bus on his way to school and that the abductors had contacted him.
“They merely asked if we are ready to comply; I was confused and I switched off the phone,” he said.
He, however, noted that abductors were yet to make their demand.
“Yes, we have been talking with them and they have said they want money but they are yet to mention the amount,” he added.
