Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senate Chief Whip, has referred to himself as the strongest candidate to become the next Senate President.
He said this as he described himself as Bola Tinubu’s top choice for a working relationship.
Following a yesterday private meeting with Tinubu in Abuja, Kalu made this disclosure.
If elected Senate President, the senator claimed he will be able to bring Nigeria together.

“I am the best among the candidates. I have the capacity to unite Nigeria, and I am the best to work with our President-elect for the best interest of Nigeria.
“I have the integrity, honesty, and experience to lead the Senate”, Kalu said.
There has been a push for the 10th National Assembly’s Senate President to come from the Southeast.
But certain key players in the Southeast are pushing for Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi to become Senate President.
The Northwest has also been identified as one of the regions most likely to produce the Senate President amid the commotion.
