Sudan Crisis: 350 Passengers Arrive Aswan Airport, Egypt

On Wednesday, 350 Nigerians who had been stranded in Khartoum, Sudan, landed in Aswan, Egypt.

AbdulRahman Balogun, the spokesman for the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, verified the development on Wednesday.

Balogun claims that although 274 passengers would be transported by Air Peace, 80 passengers would be evacuated by the Nigerian Air Force’s C130.

The airline made this statement as a rival conflict raged in the nation of North-East Africa.

Students from Nigeria and others stuck in the war-torn country need assistance, according to Air Peace.

Onyema suggested that Nigerians living in Sudan be relocated to a neighboring nation, where they would be flown out by Peace Air.

Balogun stated, “80 passengers would be flown by NAF C130 and Air Peace would transport 274 passengers, providing an update on the stranded residents.

“Checking-in has commenced following normal airport protocols.

“Boarding is ongoing.”
