Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was declared the winner of the February 25 presidential election, according to petitions filed with the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), which stated as much on Monday in Abuja.

At the first session of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, the court’s chairman, provided the assurance.

When it comes up in the decisions on the petitions, he added, the court would treat all parties fairly.

However, he urged the petitioners’ attorneys to forgo pointless technicalities, sentiments, emotions, and time-wasting arguments when defending their individual clients.
