Gbajabiamila Revels How 10th NASS Members-elect Can Help Move Nigeria Forward

Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila has urged the incoming senators and representatives of the 10th National Assembly to conduct themselves with integrity.

During the first round of newly elected MPs’ introduction on Tuesday in Abuja, the politician offered the advise.

He asked them to uphold high-caliber legislation and representation to demonstrate their value in government.

He stated that “the caliber of lawmaking and advocacy, constituency services, oversight activities, and chamber discourse must be beyond reproach.”

According to Gbajabiamila, political leaders must use their abilities and commitment to help Nigeria overcome its current difficulties and achieve prosperity.

The Speaker urged the new members to keep in mind that in parliament, individual effort by itself does not produce anything significant.

He stated that it is their vital duty to establish a productive working relationship with the executive branch of government.
