UPDATE: Tinubu Set To Return To Nigeria Today – Sources Reveal

UPDATE: Atiku’s Camp Alleges Why Tinubu Is Traveling To Europe

by Victor Ndubuisi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the news that Bola Tinubu is leaving Nigeria for Europe.

Following a three-nation trip that included London, Saudi Arabia, and Paris, Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Wednesday afternoon, according to earlier news reports.

According to information obtained, Tinubu’s most recent trip is a part of his efforts to improve transition plans and programs and talk about policy choices with important aides.

A statement from the Office of the President-elect, written by Tunde Rahman, claims that Tinubu can complete his work without undue stress or interruptions because of the trip.

Further information was provided, including the fact that Tinubu would meet with important friends and investors to promote investment prospects in Nigeria and to demonstrate his administration’s dedication to creating a business-friendly climate through laws and regulations.

Meetings with corporate leaders from a variety of sectors, such as manufacturing, agriculture, technology, and energy, have also been planned.

Atiku’s campaign spokesman, Daniel Bwala, responded to Tinubu’s camp’s allegations by claiming that the President-elect’s travel was a medical follow-up and not a working trip, as his media team had said.

Bwala argued that it is incorrect to refer to Tinubu’s travel as a business trip because he is not yet the president in a tweet on his Twitter page on Wednesday.

“Now they have learned to call the medical follow-up trip a working trip. Hold on; he is not yet the president, so technically, it is wrong to call it a working trip or visit. His media people should learn to humanize him so they do not have to make lies statecraft.

“We have seen the movie before. Whilst PMB’s media people were busy saying the president is on a working trip or visit, PMB keeps saying “I have never been this sick before”. I thought Tinubu’s media aides would learn from that; alas if it didn’t Dey, it didn’t Dey,” Bwala noted on the microblogging platform.
