May 29: Outgoing Governors Are Allocating Billions To Themselves’ – Shehu Sani Alleges

Shehu Sani, a former senator who represented Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, has charged departing governors with giving themselves billions of dollars.

According to Newsmen, certain governors will step down from their positions on May 29 due to the conclusion of their two mandates or because they were unable to win the March 18 governorship election.

With less than three weeks left in their mandates, there have been rumors that some of the departing governors have been buying luxury cars, homes, and other things.

Shehu Sani claimed in a post on Twitter on Friday that the governors are misusing cash because the members of Nigeria’s state assembly are loyal to them and so approve of whatever is put up.

He said, “Outgoing governors are allocating billions to themselves because there is always a docile and subservient states house of assemblies to approve of it”

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has been admonished by Senator Shehu Sani to cease apologizing for the deeds and remarks of his supporters and followers.

Sani encouraged Obi to let his supporters, known as obidients, accept responsibility for their deeds in a tweet on Thursday.

He claimed that the movement’s ‘libido’ would be killed if it had to constantly apologize for or denounce what the obidients say or do.
