He wrote: “The alliance between the old Western Region and the old Northern Region which the January 15th 1966 coup plotters put to an end has finally been re-established, 57 years later, in 2023.

“This is the doing of the Lord and it is marvellous in our sight.”

In the meantime, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) senatorial election of 2023 is allegedly rigged, according to the APC leader.

The election of Labour Party (LP) Senatorial candidate Ireti Kingibe, according to Fani-Kayode, is a joke, he claimed in a lengthy message on his verified Twitter account on Wednesday. He further predicted that the alleged rigging will be revealed before the election tribunal.

He added that Kingibe’s Senate participation is a part of a larger plan to destabilize the unity of the country and that she is continuously attempting to denigrate, mock, and undermine the indigenous Gbagyi community in the FCT.
