On Thursday, Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo pledged to cover the third term tuition for 2,350 pupils of the Urban Girls Secondary School in Fegge, Onitsha, for the academic year 2022–2023.
When visiting the school for an evaluation, Soludo made the commitment that he would pay the fees out of his own pocket.
The Governor also took the opportunity to exhort the students to continue serving as positive representatives of the state.

He repeatedly emphasized the necessity to practice good hygiene at home and at school.
The Governor called on the teachers to ensure they give the best to the students and assured that quality education would remain top priority of his government.(NAN)
