After being held captive for 707 days, the two remaining abducted students from the Federal Government College in Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State, have been released.
It may be recalled that on June 17, 2021, bandits broke into the school and abducted 11 students.According to reports, four of the females were pregnant, and some of the girls had given birth as teenagers.
According to reports, the two female students Faida Sani Kaoje and Safiya Idris were freed on Thursday morning.
This follows rounds of negotiations between the bandit leaders and a committee made up of their families.
