Reverend Mike Ochigbo, a well-known television pastor and motivational speaker, has reclaimed his freedom.

Ochigbo, the general overseer of Freedom Power Chapel, was taken at gunpoint from his Nyibango home in the early hours of Wednesday, according to ANAEDOONLINE.

According to an online news source (not ANAEDOONLINE), Ochigbo was released on Friday morning after purportedly paying the kidnappers N10 million in ransom.

According to SP Suleiman Nguroje, the spokesperson for the Adamawa State Police Command, workers had been sent out to save Ochigbo, according to ANAEDOONLINE.

According to him, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, has deployed operatives of the Command drawn from the Special Rapid Response Team, Crack Squad and other Tactical Squads to carry out a tactical and intelligence-driven 24/7 operation on Criminal Hideouts and Black Spots to rescue the kidnapped Ochigbo and another pastor, John Moses, who was also kidnapped by gunmen.
