During the swearing-in of Abba Yusuf as the new governor of Kano State on Monday, the stage fell.
Yusuf Abba, his deputy, and the acting chief judge were all seen on the platform in a video posted on Twitter, according to Channels TV. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, and they are all unharmed.

In the meantime, Abdullahi Ganduje pleaded with the residents of his state to pardon him on Saturday.

Ganduje claims he must ask for pardon because he has only a little time left in government.
He continued by saying that he had already forgave everybody who had hurt him and he was asking them to do the same.
Ganduje said, “With this, I can say that the end of my tenure has come as a governor of Kano state. I am bidding you farewell and I wish you all the best in life.
“For those whom we have offended, already our Imam has preached about forgiveness. From my own side, I have forgiven you all. Whatever someone said about me I forgive him. I also beg you to forgive me. Thank you.”
