Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has spoken out about why, in spite of the harsh criticism she received, she backed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign.

Following Tinubu’s inauguration on Monday, the actress opened up about her decision to camp out with the president in the face of harsh criticism from online users in an open letter.

She claimed that she backed Tinubu because of his record as a senator and governor, and she added that she thought he would do better as president.

The actress claimed that when it comes to her choice of leaders, neither her race nor her faith influence her.

To restore public confidence, Toyin encouraged the President to pay attention to the people’s worries and address them.

When Bola Tinubu was inaugurated on May 29, 2023, Toyin Abraham and Eniola Badmus had appeared in vibrant traditional garb.

According to Newsmen, some movie stars and actresses showed up in aso ebi to the presidential inauguration on Monday at Eagles Square in Abuja.

The distribution was overseen by Eniola, who received harsh criticism for promoting the Asoebi just after the presidential elections in February.
