If he wins the 2024 election, former President Donald Trump has vowed to prevent Nigerians and other nationals from obtaining citizenship for their children who were born in the United States.

Trump declared that on his first day back in office in January 2025, he would issue an executive order denying citizenship to children whose parents are not citizens of the United States or lawful permanent residents.

The biggest immigrant roundup and deportation operation in American history will also be launched, according to his pledge.
