A Priest of Catholic Diocese of Nnewi, Rev. Fr. Stanislaus Mbamara has been kidnapped.
According to the press release of Diocese of Nnewi, Fr. Mbamara, who is also a student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, was kidnapped, while returning to Nnewi from Awka.
He was kidnapped on Friday, 2nd June, 2023.
