Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president and contender for the presidency of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has asserted that his group is the only workable solution to save Nigeria from suffering.
According to Newsmen, Atiku made this claim in a press conference to journalists on Tuesday under the signature of his media adviser, Paul Ibe.
In the statement, the former vice president congratulated Governors Sim Fubara of Rivers State and Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State for becoming the chairman and vice chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, respectively.

Atiku also praised the governor of Bauchi State for hosting the PDP National Assembly members retreat well.
The former vice president, who is at the moment on a brief business trip abroad, is quoted as saying that “the PDP remains the most viable party to bring Nigeria out of the current socio-economic hardship.”
He urges all party elected officials to continue concentrating on measures that would improve the quality of life for the populace.
