The most expensive British footballer ever is now England midfielder Jude Bellingham after Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund reached a £115 million agreement for him.
The 19-year-old will get an initial fee as agreed upon by the two teams.
However, additions might push the price much over £115 million.
Bellingham will sign a six-year contract with Real Madrid, according to a release from Dortmund.

Regarding the add-ons, the club statement reads: “Such variable transfer fees are dependent on the achievement of certain sporting successes by Real Madrid and/or sporting successes or performances of the player at Real Madrid in the period of the next six seasons.”
Bellingham’s career will now continue in Spain, despite rumors that he would be moving back to the UK, where Manchester City and Liverpool were reportedly interested.
