Shehu Sani, a former legislator in the 8th National Assembly, has called Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, a bigot of religion.

Sani published images of four well-known Christian priests in Kaduna who were murdered by terrorists during El-Rufai’s rule in a tweet on Thursday morning.

The former lawmaker noted that El-Rufai never condemned the killing of the clerics, nor did he pay the family of the deceased condolence over the sad events.

Newsmen understands that Senator Sani’s statement was made in response to criticism of El-Rufai following the online publication of a video showing him endorsing a Muslim-Muslim ticket in Kaduna and Nigeria.

Before turning over to his successor, the governor of Kaduna State, who spoke in Hausa in the video, informed the audience that Nigeria had successfully recreated Kaduna’s Islamic domination and that it will do so for a very long time.
