On Friday, President Bola Tinubu will meet with prominent traditional heads of state from the six geopolitical regions of the nation.

According to news sources, the gathering of kings and queens from all over Nigeria would take place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

It was learned that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, requested the meeting with the traditional leaders today at the State House.

President Tinubu is anticipated to mobilize the traditional leaders for the elimination of fuel subsidies. Additionally, he is anticipated to beg them to inform their students about the financial factors that influenced his choice.

According to sources at the Villa, the former governor of Lagos State would also discuss his vision for the nation with the traditional leaders, including how he intends to manage the nation by ensuring that each region is treated fairly.

Since taking office on May 29, 2023, Tinubu has met with leaders from around the world in an effort to forge a national consensus on some of the socio-economic issues the nation is currently facing.

Tinubu has met with governors elected on the platforms of his party, the All Progressives Congress, and all 36 state governors elected under the platform of the Nigerian National Assembly after announcing the removal of fuel subsidies that caused a disruption in the supply of petroleum last week as a result of hoarding by fuel stations.
