Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, is a renowned on-air personality and actor from Nigeria. He has said that he lost a multi-million naira sponsorship deal because of rumors that he is a misogynist.
On the most recent episode of the audiovisual podcast The Honest Bunch, which he, Husband Material, and Deity Cole co-host, the entertainment star made this revelation.
“I almost signed an endorsement three weeks ago, but I lost it,” he admitted. I’m not in a foul mood. For a little moment, I didn’t feel horrible, but I snapped.
“Why did I lose it? Because a lot of people were flying with the narrative, ‘Nedu hates women.’ And it’s a beverage brand. The brand said, ‘If this is what people are saying, it means it is not going to go well with our female audience.

Nedu criticised his critics of a double standard who have accused him of flirting as the ones also spreading lies that he hates women in his podcast.
