Presidential Tribunal: Peter Obi’s Legal Team An Embarrassment – Omokri

Reno Omokri, a famous social commentator, has stated that Peter Obi’s legal team before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal is a disgrace.

Omokri, a communications aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, announced this on Saturday via his official Twitter profile.

Omokri, a staunch supporter of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, expressed dissatisfaction with the witnesses and evidence presented before the Tribunal by Obi’s legal team.

He claimed that Obi’s counsels are making’schoolboy blunders’ by miscalculating their document timeline and then requesting more time.

He stated that the way Obi’s staff is handling the petition will not produce results.

“Peter Obi’s legal team and their witnesses at the Presidential Election Petition Court are simply an embarrassment.

“It was a man boasting that he had all his evidence and witnesses. And look at the type of witnesses they are producing. A mathematics professor blamed his inability to prove that Peter Obi won the #NigerianElections2023 on lack of time.

“Another, Lawrence Nwakaeti, got confused in court. Lawyers who make schoolboy errors by blundering their schedule of documents and then asking for more time. It is not looking good for Peter Obi. Not looking good at all”, he wrote.

On Friday, Peter Obi submitted more witnesses to the Tribunal in order to prove that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not win the February 25 election.
