The Federal Government of Nigeria, led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has guaranteed Nigerians that power supplies across the country will improve ahead of the anticipated electricity bill hike on July 1.

Temitope Fashedemi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power, made the pledge at a meeting with Ms. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser to the President on Energy, on Thursday in Abuja.

Fashedemi expressed hope that the incoming administration will solve some of the difficulties plaguing the sector in a statement made by the Ministry’s spokesperson, Chinwe Udouwem.
