Governors elected on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform have gathered for their inaugural meeting.
This gathering is taking place in Abuja at the Akwa Ibom State Governor’s Lodge.
Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, and Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa are among those who have already arrived at the meeting venue.
According to the director general of the forum, the governors will discuss current national advances in political, social, and economic spheres.

Furthermore, the discussion will concentrate on the present situation of the PDP governors forum, the role of the PDP governors in cementing the PDP, and the current state of the PDP party.
The PDP is working hard to clean house after several governors worked against the party’s nominee, Atiku Abubakar, during the 2023 presidential race.
Several members of the party, including Nyesom Wike, Samuel Ortom, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, and others, allegedly worked against the party during the election.
Following the conclusion of the electoral process, the opposition party is working hard to clean house.
