Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has chastised the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration over the proposed N500 billion palliatives to cushion the impact of the elimination of fuel subsidies.

Yusuf questioned the federal government’s distribution of N500 billion through the Bank of Industry to boost small-scale enterprises across the country during a meeting with representatives from the Kano Cooperative Society at the state government house.

According to news sources, Yusuf, who was represented by his Deputy Governor Aminu Gwarzo, revealed that the distribution was extremely skewed, with Lagos State receiving 47% of the allotment, the South-South Zone receiving 17%, and other regions receiving much smaller amounts.
