Taoreed Adedigba, the state’s chairman of the Akinyele Local Government area, was placed on administrative leave by the Oyo State House of Assembly on Tuesday due to allegations of severe misconduct and financial embezzlement.
On the other hand, it instructed the Vice-Chairman to lead the council, with the Secretary leading Local Council Development Area One and the Assistant Secretary leading Local Council Development Area Two.
The Assembly also directed the Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, popularly known as Agba Egbe to step aside.
