According to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the claim made by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, lacks foundation.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, called Atiku’s charges “complete nonsense.”
He claimed that nothing in Atiku’s statement merited a reaction from the ruling party.

According to the spokesperson, Atiku’s statement claimed that the APC and its government are plotting to intimidate members of the judiciary in order to unjustly influence the outcome of current cases before the court.
Morka emphasized that Atiku and his ilk had no evidence to back up their outrageous, empty, and devious charges.
The spokesperson emphasized that President Bola Tinubu and the APC won the election convincingly, and that the ruling party trusts the courts to administer electoral justice in accordance with the Constitution and all applicable laws.
He added: “Quite frankly, there is nothing in Atiku Abubakar’s statement that is worth a reaction from the APC. It is just arrant nonsense, totally lacking in substance and cogency.

“It’s only imaginable purpose is a childish attempt to float an alibi to deflect the shame of a highly probable defeat in court, having miserably failed to make out a credible case to justify his bogus claim that he won the last Presidential Election.”
