Samuel Chukwueze, a winger from Nigeria, has arrived in Italy for his medicals, which means the much anticipated transfer to Milan between Villarreal and the Italian powerhouse is almost complete.

The agreement is almost complete, according to Sky Sport Italia, and only a few minor administrative details need to be taken care of in the coming hours.
Chukwueze will shortly be the seventh player Milan has signed this summer when the club officially confirms his contract.

Of those seven, he will be the seventh on whom the club has invested a transfer fee. There will be a €20 million initial payout and a further €8 million in bonuses.

After completing his medical on Wednesday, Chukwueze will sign a five-year contract with the Serie A side, which will see him earn €4m per season.

Once all of the paperwork has been completed for Chukwueze, he will fly out to the United States of America, where he can join up with the rest of Stefano Pioli’s squad on their pre-season tour.

As excitement builds within the Milan fan base, all eyes are now on the official announcement, eagerly awaiting Chukwueze’s debut in the iconic red and black jersey.
