Officials from the Department of State Services, DSS, and Nigeria Correctional Services, NCS, are currently involved in a shootout over custody of Godwin Emefiele, the suspended former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

The DSS has rounded up more men to oppose the attempt of prison officials to arrest Emefiele, and as a result, one unnamed highly-ranking NCS has been severely battered and imprisoned.
