Festus Keyamo, former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet nominations.
Earlier, news outlets claimed that the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, put an end to speculations on Thursday afternoon when he delivered the president’s ministerial nomination list to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
At exactly 01:19 p.m., Gbajabiamila, the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, handed the list to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Following that, Akpabio read the ministerial list, which included 28 nominations.
Keyamo, who was not on the list, was derided online, especially because he had always defended Tinubu’s decisions publicly.
Despite being left off the list of nominees, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman stated that those who have been nominated deserve it.
He tweeted: “Huge congratulations to all the ministerial nominees by the President @officialABAT; very well deserved”
